Supporting child development
New interactive curriculum-based songs for children
Early childhood development is supported through songs and assistance for teachers and parents is provided. Our new songs draw on everyday experiences of children in NZ and are categorised in the 40 new songs and a dance resource kit.
There are many traditional songs that have always supported learning. With the traditional songs in the Alphabets adults can choose something traditional with modern layers added to it support childrens’ learning.
Cognitive skills development in children
These resource kits support cognitive skills. Cognitive skills separate great learners from the mediocre. Without developed cognitive skills, children fail to achieve as well, because they cannot integrate new information as well when they are taught it. Basic academic skills like reading, writing and maths are enhanced with good cognitive learning skills.
The ability to learn and make sense of new information is crucial to a child’s successful learning. Supporting your children’s cognitive skills is so important and it is what music and songs do so well.
